Dates: 1st of Sept - 15th of December (4 months) Paid: 10K/month excl. VAT on invoice
Hours: Part time 1 Sept -30 Nov, 1 - 15 Dec full time Workspace: Festival office at Nobel Prize Museum, Stockholm
Organisation
Nobel Week Lights is an annual public light festival taking place in central Stockholm during Nobel Week: 3-11 December.
Nobel Week Lights is organized by a small dedicated team with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. We value an inclusive and supportive working environment that plays with new and creative ideas.
The festival has the goals of:
- Presenting high quality light-artworks in public space to a broad audience
- Transforming the way in which Stockholmers see and connect with their city and the urban environment
- Democratizing the Nobel celebrations by presenting artworks inspired by and communicating the ideas of the Nobel prizes and laureates to the public
TWO PAID INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE
FESTIVAL PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP
Profile
1. You are currently studying, recently graduated or experienced in one (or many) of the following fields:
- Cultural management + Arts Administration
- Production and logistics
- Placemaking and Urban Development
2. You are based in Stockholm and fluent in Swedish with a proficient level of English. Other languages are a plus.
3. Have work or volunteer experience in a cultural or festival context.
Key Responsibilities
This internship position will focus on assisting the strategic team in two main parts of the festival:
- Assisting Student Project Co-operations.
- Assisting with Artistic Production.
Responsibilities will include supporting production preparation, establishing regular communication and follow up with partnership universities and students, problem solving with festival team and technical director, collaborating with communication team to source promotional materials about installations.

OUTREACH + PARTNERSHIP INTERNSHIP
Profile
1. You are currently studying, recently graduated or experience in one (or many) of the following fields:
- Cultural Entrepreneurship, Arts Management and Fundraising
- Audience engagement and development
- Placemaking and Urban Development
2. You are based in Stockholm and fluent in Swedish with a proficient level of English. Other languages are a plus.
3. You have work or volunteer experience in a cultural or festival context.
4. If you have experience working in the tourism/hospitality/service industry it is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
This internship position will focus on assisting the strategic team with two main parts of the festival:
- Outreach Activities (Guided tours and facilitating public initiatives)
- Partner Events
Responsibilities will include coordination of VIP events, assisting in the organization of guided tours for the audience, collaborating with the festival team to communicate tours, outreach activities and events and looking into audience-led activations for the festival.
